The Hideout House easily sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms, with a king sized bed in the master bedroom, three Queen sized bedrooms, and a bedroom with two King Singles.

An 1880s Queenslander house that started life in Brisbane, the Hideout has sat high on a ridge outside Mullumbimby in the Byron hinterland for the last 45 years. When you're at the house you feel like you're miles from anywhere, yet you're on 5 minutes to excellent coffee, shops and restaurants in Mullumbimby, Byron Bay is an easy 20 minutes, and the nearest beach is only 10 minutes away.

Spend time indoors where you'll find large rooms with 16ft high ceilings and hoop pine heritage floors. Upstairs we four bedrooms, a large country kitchen, dining area, full bathroom and separate toilet and a TV room with internet TV and Netflix. Plus there's plenty of living spaces to hang out, or hide out and read. The house has wifi, and speakers you can use to stream your music, as well as plenty of board games and books.

Head downstairs and you'll find a dance/yoga studio / playroom with another television and table tennis table, a second bathroom and another Queen room.

Outside you can hang out by the pool, or on the wrap around verandahs, and enjoy the coastal breezes and north facing views over Mt Chincogan. For cooler evenings you can enjoy the firepit. You'll be surrounded by beautiful gardens of mango and macadamia trees, and enjoy the shade of giant figs.
